And it's not that men have stronger sex drive - many studies show that there are many women who have stronger sex desire than men. So what is it that makes men look for multiple sexual partners. Or, as Jerry Seinfeld called it - "men hunt and women nest"
The Gay Side
I once thought that it's the male character who's to blame. Men tend to be less emotional and less vulnerable than women - so they also get less emotionally connected to a specific partner.
But what about the gay side? Gay men, by average are much more emotional than hetrosexual men. And yet, the issue of not being loyal is very common among them.
It's very common for gay men to be involved in casual sex, one-night stands, orgies - whatever.
So I concluded it's not the emotional cause.
Is It Biology
The biological reasons seems to be far more persuading, and it goes like this: Women want a stable relationship, because biologically - a woman needs a stable husband to protect her and take care of her while she's pregnant and while she takes care of her babies.
This also explains while women can be so "afraid" of having casual sex - in nature, every sexual activity might result in getting pregnant, and pregnancy without a loyal husband, can result not only in the death of her children, but also in her own death.
By the way, this also explains why being raped is so terrible for women, and why it's often compared to murder.
In today's world, women know that condoms and anti-pregnancy pills exist. However, their biological mechanisms cause them to prefer serious and long-term relationships with men.
Casual Sex Is Still Possible

Many women want and look for casual sex. It make them feel energetic and it their hormones and emotions skyrocket. However, a woman will always have this internal force trying to stop her.
That's why my advice to men is to never be direct about casual sex with women. Don't tell a girl - "let's go to my place and have sex". Instead, be as indirect as possible - If she wants it and if you make her feel horny and attracted, she'll understand your hints.
